My First tour at Lingayen–Province of Pangasinan

I already blogged about Pangasinan Digital ICT Congress at Phil IT Org website to support our President, Bam Amor and shutout to the everybody  that Phil IT Org’s head was invited to be a resource speaker for mobile development overview.  Pangasinan Digital also invited our Board member – Henry Hutalle to discuss  cloud computing. Aside from the two resource speaker, John Remir Cueto our Public Relations Manager and Mac Vasquez our Board Member were also joined the Pangasinan Digital ICT Congress to cover the event and support Bam and Henry’s talk.

Pangasinan Digital ICT Congress was a week-long event and started from November 21 to 25. The two Phil IT Org Officers were scheduled their talk on Thursday but they leave Manila on Wednesday early morning because Pangasinan Digital Organizers provided  transportation from Manila to Lingayen, Pangasinan.

This was my story on how I abled to went in Lingayen, Pangasinan. I want to join Phil IT Org’s team going to Lingayen but on that same day (Wednesday), the other half of the Phil IT Org team (where I was assigned) will also joining Adamson’s Technology affairs. Before that, Bam, John Remir, Mac and yours truly were attended an IBM technology workshop in Makati City. John Remir and Mac leaved the earlier the workshop to prepare their things going to Lingayen. Bam and I, stayed until the end of first day of the workshop. We stayed for a while at Burger King at Glorietta and waiting for Mac. Per Bam, the shuttle will be at McDonald’s Panay Avenue in Quezon City to pick-up them. Mac already meet us at Burger King and they went ahead to Quezon City. I was accompany with Mac and Bam going to Quezon City because my way going work was same where the go. We ride in MRT (Metro Train) at Ayala station.

While in the train, Bam and Mac invited to join them in Pangasinan, but I said, no guys because the fare going to Pangasinan is to expensive and yet yours truly have to go at Adamson University to represent our Organization. Bam answers, no there is a bus provided to us going to Pangasinan. Ok, if the organizers allow me to join you guys so lets go as I said to Bam. Bam contacted Marlon De Guzman of Solid Hosting (one of Pangasinan Digital speaker and sponsor ) and told that I joining Phil IT Org team going to Pangasinan. No problem with that as feedback by Marlon to Bam. Ok so let’s go to Pangasinan. “Naipit lang ako sa MRT ayan tuloy nakasama ako sa Pangasinan”

We stayed first at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Eton Centris in Quezon City to have some coffee and check our emails and Facebook. then around 11pm we moved at McDonald’s at Panay Avenue and wait for the service provided by the organizer. We met Jinkee Umali, Creative Director of Live Life Fullest and Calamba Online, she also a resource speaker for website design, tips and tricks. We talk and got bonding for a while, around 1am in the morning of Wednesday the shuttle service already arrive. But we still waiting for two invited resource speakers Azrael Coladilla and Coy Coballes- Head, Globe Telecom Social Media. Around 15 minutes later, the two speakers already at the pick-up point.  We leave Manila around 1:30 am, we take rest for a while at the shuttle while on the road trip. around 5:30am in the morning, we arrive at Lingayen, Pangasinan and we stayed at El Puerto Marina Beach Resort and Spa near Capitol of Pangasinan.

This the part 1 of my travel adventures in Lingayen Pangasinan.  Thank you to all Organizers of Pangasinan Digital ICT Congress and to Honorable Governor Amado Espino, Jr. for accommodations provided to us.
